"Traffic circles are the most inappropriate civil engineering design of the late 20-th century. They might have worked fine with a horse and buggy, but not with automobiles. No one knows that the car inside the traffic circle has the right of way. What I really need to get around Boston (especially Rt. 2 from Acton to Cambridge) is my old dented rusted '62 Chevy Impala with those huge crome bumpers with more crome than most cars today have steel. And a bumper sticker on the back which says "I eat Hundis for breakfast."
